Underwater Coatings

Underwater coatings are produced using the composition HEP Resist +.

Applied to metal or concrete surfaces with a hard brush or a rotary brush. The coatings are two-component and may be applied at any temperature of the water and cured in the range from several minutes to several days.

In cases where the coating should be applied to surfaces exposed to abrasive particles, surf, strong currents, it is recommended to use single-component photo-curable composition with curing time of a few minutes. 

In some cases, to realise an underwater coating film material is used. The film material used has a fabric base on the inner side; viscous glue and plastic sheets are applied to the fabric base on air. The film is applied by divers.

Hardening and corrosion protection of degraded piping inland or under water – the surface of the pipe is coated with reinforced coating material based on the composition HEP Resist +. In the capacity of reinforcing materials woven or non-woven fabrics of glass, basalt, carbon yarn or metal wire can be used. Simultaneously with hardening and corrosion protection processing thermal insulation of the pipeline can be carried out.
